Eddy Kenzo Drops his Kadongo Kamu song Mumpowe

Musician Edrissa Mussuza alias Eddy Kenzo has finally released his most anticipated Kadongo Kamu song dubbed Mumpowe.

Kadongo Kamu is regarded one of the traditional genres of music has lately been sidelined by most artistes.

Kadongo Kamu music is also referred to the famous country music that is highly appreciated with majority people born in the 1980s.

Eddy Kenzo asserts that he decided to record a song in Kadongo Kamu version in memory is late mother who was a staunch fan of the genre.

In the song Mumpowe, Eddy Kenzo tries to reflect on how the current generation of artistes have forgotten about the ancient music culture.

Kenzo goes on to ask all those opposed to Kadongo Kamu music to let him teach future generations about the values, virtue and tradition.

He reveals in his song that Kadongo Kamu music is one way the Ugandan musical culture can be restored.
