Higher institutions of learning lately have been mared by strikes and with most having a rift between the administration and students.
Students at Kyambogo University of Bachelor of Economics and Statistics have gone on strike protesting lectures’. These students assert that lectures conducted on WhatsApp and Short Message Service(SMS) mode of teaching.
They assert that they (Students) don’t get desired knowledge and attention from the lecturers who conduct lectures online.
They are demanding the University administration to make sure lecturers stop using the previous teaching methods.
