Mbale Heroes signs Former Bul Captain Gwotto

Mbale Heroes has continued to reinforce the squad in quest for glory next season by signing an experienced Forward. He is former Bul FC captain Fredson Gwotto.

Mbale Heroes announced the arrival of the forward through their official facebook page.

We are delighted to announce the signing of former Bull football club team captain and Bukeddi Province Captain. FredSon Gwoto is a versatile player who signs from Bull football club.” the post reads in part.

Adding”The Experienced forward will add agility and speed to our forward line. As we embark on a mission possible to Qualify to Big League and win Uganda Cup after over two decades”.

The two times Uganda cup champions failed to qualify for Big league after failing to Jinja North 1-0 in Iganga.

Micheal Woniala, the Director Communications at the club says the club is determined to attain the biggest history in recent times.

We are not only preparing for Regional league, but we are as well determined to reclaim the Uganda cup. We have been unlucky in recent times because of experience. We are commited to deliver the sliverware this season”

He became our 7th signing after signing of Jack Obwana from Blackspower FC. Sserwanda Nasiru, Mark Bamukyaye, James Otim. Umar Kyeyune and Ronald Obelle. All from Gadaffi football club. Micheal concluded.

The club has also renewed contracts of Derrick Daniel Dangachur, goalkeeper Muhammad “Didi” Kasule. Defender Geofrey Lubangakene, Bahati Kibalatsi (defensive midfielder). Ivan Waako, “Van Der Saar” Makumba (goalkeeper) and a forward, Herbert Kibirango.
