Police gives Account on Murder of Nandala’s Niece

Today Mbale city was awash by the news of gruesome murder of Hon. Nandala’s nice Grace Nambozo.
Grace Nambozo who has recently graduated from IUIU has been Buwalasi sub-county chief in Sironko district.
The police has however apprehended one of the suspects only identified Lydia Negesa, 36. She is a resident of Wagagai cell, Nkoma ward Mbale city Northern Division.
According to locals, police made arrest of Negesa because she connected the suspected killer and the deceased.
The ‘killer’ only identified as Derick is said to have been having endless fights with the late and the family asked the two to seperate.

The Elgon Region Police Spokesperson Rogers Taitika, affirms that the two developed a misunderstanding, which compelled their clan members to advise them to separate about two months ago.

He further revealed that on Monday, Negesa called Namboozo inviting her for a reconciliation meeting with Derick at his home where she was murdered from.
Taitika said that police picked up Negesa while the hunt is still on for Derick who is still on the run.

The body of the deceased has been taken to the ancestral home in Buwalasi after police finished the postmortem.
